Katherine Pappa

Katherine is the Global Director for Custom Solutions at the Center for Creative Leadership® (CCL®). The Custom Solutions Group, using an array of formats, techniques, and tools, develops customized solutions that focus on the organization’s specific, unique business drivers and leadership needs. Katherine is responsible for developing strategy for Custom Solutions, which is the Center’s second largest and fastest growing area of focus. She creates and executes of the strategy across the group’s three business regions, North America, Europe, and Asia.

Katherine joined the Center in 1988. Since that time she has contributed to CCL’s work in a variety of key roles, including directing Custom Solutions for North America; managing one of the Center’s most popular public programs, Foundations of Leadership; and teaching the award-winning flagship course, Leadership Development Program (LDP)®.

Katherine’s research interests include generational and gender diversity as well as organizational leadership development. She was twice a co-editor of Leadership Education: A Source Book, a resource for those teaching leadership at the university level. Her client list includes SAP, Prudential, Cirque du Soleil, The Cleveland Foundation, and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Katherine earned a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
